Patrick Bateman Returns to London

One of last year's more unexpected pop-ups came in the form of Novel Dining's American Psycho-themed dinner last September at Shoreditch House. This year, devotees of Bret Easton Ellis's (in)famous satire on 1980s excess and yuppie culture can get even further into the mind of a psychopath, as the Almeida prepares to stage American Psycho - The Musical.

Yes, it's an odd concept.

This is an idea that's been knocking about for a little while now - first media reports of its existence came a year or so ago, but this purports to be the first staging. Details are as yet sketchy, but it will doubtless be a unique experience - tickets go on sale to Almeida members at 10am on 23rd April, and to the general public on 7th May - you can get more details here at the Almeida's website.
