Lana Del Rey and the Great Gatsby

Gatsby's having a hell of a revival in the 2010s - from last year's musical adaptation at the King's Head, to the 8-hour epic production of Gatz which formed part of the 2012 LIFT festival, Fitzgerald's enigmatic tale about the death of the American dream is exerting a strong fascination on popular culture - a fascination which will only become more apparent as we get closer to the release of Baz Luhrman's forthcoming film adaptation.

The soundtrack to the film has been getting almost as much attention as the production itself (will.i.am? Really?) - have a listen to the lead track by smoky chanteuse Lana Del Rey to get yourself in the mood (and maybe make yourself a gimlet too).
